Our Story

Up here in Kinnaur, life moves a little differently. The air is thinner, the seasons slower, and the work—especially on the farms—asks for patience. Our villages sit between 2,300 to 4,600 metres above sea level, tucked between apple orchards, snow-fed rivers, and old footpaths that still remember their stories.

About Us

Kinnaur Goodness is a small attempt to hold on to all that. We grow apples the way they’ve always been grown here—slowly, naturally, and with care. No rush, no ripening chemicals, no factory shortcuts. Just clean mountain air, glacier water, and the kind of soil that teaches you to trust the process.

We grow Royal Delicious, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, and sometimes we put together a mixed box so you get a taste of the whole season. Every apple carries a bit of our landscape with it—our cold mornings, our quiet labor, and a sweetness that only time can bring.

But this isn’t just about apples. It’s about the way of life behind them. I’ve always believed that people should know where their food comes from—not just the taste, but the story behind it. That’s why, whenever possible, we welcome people who want to visit the farm, walk through the orchard, meet the folks who work the land, and understand how things grow in the mountains.

Kinnaur Goodness is about simplicity, honesty, and staying close to the land. It’s still growing, still learning—but the roots are deep, and the intentions are clear.

If this speaks to you, we’d love to have you be part of the journey—whether that means enjoying our fruit, visiting us someday, or just reaching out to say hello.
